Privacy

This site exists to help you book DJ Manny. It collects the bare minimum to do that, and nothing else. Here is exactly what happens with your information, in plain language.

The short version

  • The only thing this site collects is what you type into the contact form.
  • That form emails Manny. It does not feed a database, a CRM or a mailing list.
  • No analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels.
  • Want your message deleted? Ask, and it is gone.

The contact form

The Check Your Date form asks for six things. Each one has a job.

  • Name, so Manny knows who he is talking to.
  • Email, so he can reply.
  • Phone, optional, if you would rather get a text back.
  • Event date, optional, so he can check availability before writing back.
  • Event type, optional, so the quote matches the night you are planning.
  • Message, the venue, the vibe, the questions. Whatever you want to share.

Name, email and message are required. The rest is up to you. Nothing you enter is stored on this website itself.

Where your message goes

When you hit send, a small function on the hosting edge checks the fields, then hands the message to Resend, the email delivery service this site uses, which delivers it to the Euphoric Events inbox as one email. Your email address is set as the reply-to, so when Manny answers, it comes straight back to you. No auto-reply is sent to you; you get an on-screen confirmation instead.

That email also includes your IP address, the country it resolved to, and your browser's user agent string. These are there for one reason: telling real inquiries from spam. They are not used for anything else, and they are not shared with anyone else.

Keeping bots out

Three things stand between the form and the spam bots.

  • Cloudflare Turnstile may run on the form. It is an invisible bot check. When it is on, Cloudflare looks at the request to decide whether a human sent it, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
  • Rate limiting. Each IP address can send a handful of messages every few minutes. The count is kept as short-lived, empty entries in Cloudflare's edge cache. They contain nothing about you and expire on their own.
  • A hidden field. Real people never see it. If a bot fills it in, the submission is quietly dropped.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare handles every request for a page, image or video, and sees the technical details that come with it, such as your IP address. Cloudflare's handling of that data is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Euphoric Events does not add anything on top.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site are served from this site, not from Google Fonts or any other font service. Your browser never contacts a third party to render the text here.

Analytics, cookies and tracking

None. There is no analytics script, no advertising cookie and no tracking pixel on this site at this time. The site does not follow you around the internet, and it does not build a profile of you. If that changes this page will be updated.

Photos and video

Every video on this site is served from this site. Nothing is embedded from YouTube or another video platform, so watching a clip here does not send anything to a third party.

The photos and video are from real events Manny has played. If you appear in one and would rather not, get in touch and it will be taken down.

Removing your information

Your message lives in the Euphoric Events inbox and nowhere else on this site. To have it deleted, or to ask what was received, email or text Manny and say so. Same goes for an image you would like removed.

If the way this site handles information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. No fine print, no surprises.
