I'm the DJ and MC behind Euphoric Events, based in Boise, Idaho.
For me, being a wedding DJ is about a lot more than playing songs. It's about creating the moments people remember: the song that gets everyone onto the dance floor, the grand entrance that gets the night started, and those unexpected moments when an entire room is singing together.

How I Run a Room
Four rules that do not change between a backyard birthday and a 300-guest wedding.

Read the Room, Not the Playlist
Every wedding is different. I pay attention to who's dancing, who's singing, and what the crowd is responding to. I adjust throughout the night instead of following a rigid playlist.

Host, Don't Hijack
Great MCing keeps the event moving without making the DJ the center of attention. I make announcements clearly, confidently, and at the right moments, then get the focus back where it belongs: on you.

Every Genre, One Dance Floor
Country, hip-hop, throwbacks, pop, Latin, rock, R&B, or the songs your parents love. I'm comfortable moving between generations and genres while keeping the dance floor connected.

Behind every great wedding is preparation. I work with you ahead of time on your timeline, music preferences, special dances, announcements, and must-play songs so there are fewer surprises on the big day.

Clean and loud for a 300-guest ballroom, tuned down for a backyard. Never the same rig for every space.

For toasts, speeches and the officiant. Handed over charged and tested, so nobody taps the mic and asks if it is on.

Party lights sized to the room, enough to make the floor feel like a show once the sun goes down.

A second controller, extra cables and a spare mic ride along to every event, wired so a swap takes seconds.

On site well before guests arrive. Set, sound-checked and looking right before the first person walks in.
More Than Just the Music
When I'm not behind the booth, I'm usually exploring Boise and the surrounding area, traveling, listening to music, or finding the next song that needs to make its way onto a dance floor.
I love discovering new music, but I also believe the best DJs understand that sometimes the perfect song isn't the newest song. It's the one that brings everyone together.
That's what I chase at every event.
